How It Works

Private by Design. Powerful by Community.

Privately Share Security Footage

Share your footage only when you choose to. Your privacy is our priority — no public sharing, no breaches of trust. Every submission is encrypted and verified.

Instant Neighbor Alerts

Get notified the moment a neighbor reports something suspicious near your home. Know what's happening on your block in real time — before it reaches your doorstep.

Help Solve Crimes Faster

Package and send evidence directly to local law enforcement with one click. Your community's footage, organized and ready — helping police identify suspects faster.

Real Coordination Stories

When something happens on the block, Knoc helps neighbors share footage and act together. Here are three real moments from communities using Knoc.

Identified by Neighbors

Stolen Truck

When a neighbor’s truck was stolen, multiple homes shared doorbell footage from that morning. Together, the clips captured the suspect’s face and a clear license plate — forwarded to police as a single evidence package.

Tracked by the Community

Suspicious Vehicle

A suspicious van was reported circling near a child on the block. Multiple homes shared footage that captured the van’s make, model, and direction of travel — verified and forwarded to police the same day.

Recovered Through Coordination

Package Theft

A package was taken from a front porch. The homeowner’s doorbell caught the theft; neighbors down the block added clips of the suspect’s face and getaway vehicle — combined and shared with local police.

Built for Communities. Trusted by Residents.

Everything HOA boards, neighborhood watch coordinators, and community leaders need to communicate and coordinate on safety — and nothing you don’t.

One Trusted Channel for Your Community

A private community feed and chat restricted to verified residents and administrators. No public posts, no outside noise, no social feed chaos — available on iOS and Android.

Structured Incident Reporting

A shared feed designed only for safety-related activity. Suspicious behavior, alerts, updates, and outcomes. Nothing else.

Consent-Based Evidence Sharing

When something happens, residents share security footage on their terms — with you and law enforcement. Encrypted, private by default, and only visible to the requester.

Coordination When It Matters Most

Direct safety alerts to the right neighbors, forward verified footage to police, and keep your community informed — all from one dashboard. Easy communication and coordination without public social media posts or chaos.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you don't find what you're looking for, reach out to our support team and we'll get back to you.

    • Who can apply to manage a Knoc community?

HOA boards, neighborhood watch coordinators, block captains, and any resident leader willing to verify their neighbors. A real person at Knoc reviews every application.

    • How long does the review take?

Usually a few business days. We email you the moment your application is reviewed. If we need more information, we'll ask.

    • What does it cost during the beta?

Knoc is free during the beta for both community managers and verified residents. We'll share pricing details well before that changes.

    • How private is the community feed?

The feed is restricted to verified residents and administrators. No public posts, no outside noise, no social feed chaos.

    • Does Knoc have access to my cameras?

No. No one — including Knoc — can view your cameras or footage. When a neighbor requests evidence, you choose whether to review your own footage and share clips.

    • Who can see footage I share?

Only the resident who requested it and, if you choose, the law enforcement officer assigned to the incident. Footage is encrypted in transit and at rest.

    • I’m a resident — how do I get access?

Your community manager sends you an invitation link from inside Knoc. You don’t need to sign up on your own. If your block doesn’t have a Knoc community yet, ask your HOA board to apply.

    • Do I need a camera?

No. Even without a camera, you can request footage from your neighbors and stay informed about safety on your block.

    • Will Knoc flood me with notifications?

No. Knoc is designed only for safety-related activity. You'll hear about incidents on your block — and nothing else.

    • Is Knoc for emergencies?

No. Knoc is not designed for emergencies. If you or your neighbors are facing one, please dial 911 immediately.
