What is your Community?

A Community is a private group of verified neighbors — usually one HOA or neighborhood — who share posts and coordinate on incidents together, away from the wider public feed.

What it's for

Once you're in a Community, your feed gets a private Community tab that only your neighbors can see. Incidents you flag as community-only stay inside that group, and you get a private member directory so you know who's actually on your block.

Who runs it

Every Community has a Community Manager — a neighbor (or HOA board member) who reviews join requests, keeps the member list accurate, and moderates reports. If you're the Community Manager, your Knoc home screen shows a Manage Community link straight to that dashboard.

Joining an existing Community

If a neighbor shares a Community invite link with you, opening it takes you to a short join request. The Community Manager reviews it and approves or declines — you'll get a notification either way.

Starting a new Community

If your neighborhood doesn't have one yet, you can apply to become its Community Manager from your home screen. Once approved, you'll get a private invite link to share with your neighbors — every person who requests to join goes through you first.
